Responsible for the oversight of the implementation of the KZN Social Accords by all Social Partners across the KZN province.
Provision of overall coordination of Provincial Government’s implementation of the initiatives of the KZN Social Accords as well as of the various Task Team members representing Provincial Government.
Scheduling and coordinating Task Team meetings and preparation and submition of Work Plans and Progress Reports to the Convenors of the KZN Economic Council. Reports having been submitted to the general manager of Trade and Sector as well as the Deputy Director General of Industry and Business Regulations prior to it being tabled at the Convenors meetings.
Also responsible for monitoring the compliance of Task Teams and project processes to the requirements of the KZN Economic Council. Provision of input to the formulation of implementation plans at the Task Team meetings and communicating the plans of Provincial Government at the Task Team meetings.

Conducted project administration services for the KZN Economic Council (KZNEC), the District Municipal Investment Promotion and Facilitation Strategy (DMIPFS), the KZN Export Strategy, and the KZN Export Forum.
Conducted desktop project research for the KZN Export Forum project inception phase, District Municipal Investment Promotion and Facilitation Strategies (Ilembe and Pietermaritzburg) and a review of the KZN Export Strategy.
Drafted project proposals, procurement strategies and GAP analyses when required at project implementation and review phases. Most project documents necessitated one to prepare submissions of approval to be submitted to the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Department with the approval from the Deputy Director General of Industry and Business Regulations. Also worked with the Legal Directorate to develop Memorandums of Understanding and Service Level Agreements for our suppliers.
Monitored the cost, duration and quality of project implementation and ensured service provider compliance to the terms of the Service Level Agreements.
Prepared the Directorate's project requisitions, facilitated payments to suppliers, managed the Directorate's budget, performed physical and electronic filing, compiled the unit's monthly and quarterly reports as well as other reports on demand, and coordinated meetings and prepared meeting documents (Agendas, Minutes, Matters Arising Report, Presentations).
Participated in project steering committees (Umkhanyakude and Zululand LED Forum, KZN Export Strategy and KZN Aerotropolis), drafted and conducted presentations for the ILEMBA District Investment Promotion and Facilitation Strategy, the KZNEC Continues…
