As part of this project, Source system is providing the Zip Code information file from OHIO server on monthly basis, EDWard systems needs to access the file on incremental basis and load the active Zip Code information in EDWard Systems by retaining the existing records and tagging it as in-active .
GBD Revenue Facets, is to integrate the Facets Revenue into EDWard. There is currently a gap for Facets data that needs to be remedied. Rather than sourcing Facets revenue directly from Central, Med-D and GBD Facets as is done with other source systems, it was deemed expedient to source from FIS.
This project is prompted by the need for all GBD Facets Medicare Supplement migration revenue to be integrated into EDWard. The Medicare Supplement members currently on ISG Broker, CS90, ACES, Central Facets, VA Corp will be migrated to GBD Faces system. Revenue data for these members will flow from GBD Faces to FIS and then to EDWard.

As part of NCR/NRT Bookings project we are building Net change reporting capability in Teradata. Earlier we used to have this capability in ERP which used to happen using triggering events. Now ERP is migrating to Oracle R12 and ERP team wants to takeout NCR part from ERP which is the main reason behind it to build it in Teradata. Now we take the Sales Order, Sales Order Line and Sales Credit assignment data directly from ERP Oracle to Teradata using golden gate and thereafter we put all the NCR logic and process it till Teradata NCR table. As part of Teradata NCR we capture any change on Sales Order, Sales Order Line and Sales Credit assignment for NCR related attributes and keep the latest snapshot in our NCR table because we maintain the changes on day granularity.
Development starts using Informatica and SQL technologies based on the BRD provided by client. We are responsible for Development and do the Integration testing and will make sure that we meet our SLA when our jobs get executed in Production Environment.

The actual process is when a foreign traveler visits a country and uses his credit card; FCC Back Office will convert that amount into his home currency and sends it to the merchant so that the customer will know how much he is spending actually.
