Senior Geologist Gold fields-South Deep Mine May 2020 - Current Duties & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of geological modelling (with Datamine & Leapfrog).

• Underground Mapping (Reef identifications and structures).

• Knowledge of grade control (grade management).

• Plotting and generating structural plans for geotech purposes.

• Monthly grade reconciliation (ore body evaluations).

• Knowledge of Logging and sampling (captured data into database).

• Provide geology inputs at the planning meetings addressing any geological concerns.

• Liaison with planners and drill blast personnel for optimal mine design and future drilling sites.

• Liaison with rock engineering for proper support of geological structures.

• Provide geology knowledge and due diligence reviews of new opportunities with medium and long term planners for safe and full extraction of the ore body.
