As a Quality Technician/Supervisor/Engineering Specialist, I will provide the highest level of support using technological knowledge and communication skills acquired through specialized training and previous experience as well as ongoing education.

• Over 5 years of experience encompassing virtually all phases of quality including inspection, audits, CPK analysis, gauge R and R, receiving inspection, center spec analysis, SPC chart monitoring, contaminants, sorting, and metallurgical and laminating quality lab functions.

• Created new process and wrote work instruction for Forging and Machining hold procedures and created a tracking database to ensure timely rework processes and FIFO requirements were being utilized.

● Perform critical attribute testing on manufactured products and compile and analyze data to create shipment specific Certificates of Authenticity and/or Compliance based on customer requirements.

● Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of established industry/plant specific Quality policies/procedures in accordance with QMS and ISO standardization.

● Supports development and implementation of process improvement initiatives within the quality department and throughout plant including R&D.

Quality Assurance Technician June 2019 – January 2020

● Responsible for Materials Receiving for the entire facility, including inspections, rejections, cert verification, NCM reports, and updating PPE against suppliers.

● Wrote, issued, and trained Quality Alerts as needed for both internal and external quality issues. ● Acted as primary for quality upkeep of production equipment (Calibrations, zeroing, crash reset, etc.) including but not limited to CMM, ELDEC, IBG (Eddy Current), and forge press functions.

● Heavily involved with metallurgical laboratory functions for daily, weekly, and requalification tests, MPAPs, PPAPs, Gauge R&R, weld acid etching and macros.

● Conducted audits and various spot checks as well as knowledge-based testing for team member sign offs at specific workstations.

● Conducted full weld and defect inspections on control boxes multiple times per shift to ensure robot welders are completing superior products in accordance with the WPS to print specifications. ● Perform a variety of Quality checks on every process of production using calipers, load cell testers, hardness/surface roughness testers, and CCD microscope into the PLEX system to generate SPC data and track quality at the process level. ● Calibrate gauges and measuring devices (i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.) to IATF standards.

● Responsible for inspection receiving of materials including wire and retainers to ensure quality expectations of customer. ● Responsible for special project customer tests including CPK, Center Spec analysis, Gauge R&R, and contamination tests. ● Required to make judgment calls based on SPC chart data pertaining to adjustments, parts being placed on hold, and work stoppage for maintenance/ set up miscalculations.
