Scope of the project:

Construction of 3000Km of LV line network and connection of 45000 customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

(a)Supervision of Power line construction works under Last Mile phase 2 project, lot 1 and 2 including planning, monitoring and evaluation of LV/MV lines construction works.

(b)Interviewing new supervisors and inducting them to their roles, duties, expectations, safety at work and targets.

(c) Recruitment of construction teams and Evaluating subcontractors,

(d) Approval of Material Requisition

(e) Making regular progress and Safety reports to the employer and the client (Kenya Power).

(f) Inspecting Materials Quality before contracting suppliers and attending FAT tests for poles.

(g) Enforcing Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) policies and other site requirements to internal team leaders and subcontractors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

a) Picking Customer details and designing Lv network as constructed

b) Receiving of files and pegging of schemes

c) Preparation of material BOQ and ensure accurate materials are dispatched from

Warehouse and delivered to sites, including poles.

d) Inspection of installation work; both subcontractors and internal teams

e) Collection of as-built data by conducting pole-to-pole schedule and JMC

f) Preparation of scheme invoice for the sub-contractor

g) Collection of customer lists (customers' data) and processing/ sorting of meters upon issuance in liaison with Warehouse Office

h) Digitization of LV Network in the facilities database (FDB) system in conjunction with design team.

i) Customer sensitization and solving of way leave issues.

J) Recruitment and constituting the internal construction teams

k) Making daily reports on county work progress to the construction manager/Engineer.
