Projects
Implement New Policy Center Page – I used Guidewire Studio to implement a custom page called Special Investigation Details to display information on the Policy Center UI concerning a custom entity Suspect Ext. To provide the required functionality, I used many fundamental features of the Guidewire software, including proper widget hierarchy for the user interface, Gosu rules and enhancements, toolbars, and popups to provide editability for users with the appropriate permissions, and SoapUI to generate APIs to access data in the Claim Center.
Best Practices – I closely followed Guidewire’s Best Practices during the implementation of the custom page Special Investigation Details. This included but was not limited to following naming conventions, using the profiler to identify and avoid expensive practices that could affect UI performance, and using logging to identify and address errors.
Plane Boarding pass application – I lead a team that built a Boarding plane ticket application that used various technologies I learned while working for Pyramid Academy. This application took passengers details as input the created a boarding pass for them and provided a flight from the database, it also saved their contents in a separate database. Technologies included to create this application were – Java, Hibernate and MySQL
Full stack Trello application – in this project I created with a team that created a full stack program that is similar to the site Trello. The program allowed a user to give people tasks that has a priority and due date. The user can add new people, new task, update task and delete task. Technologies included to create this application were – React, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and MySQL
Blackjack – I lead a team that built a single player blackjack application in Java. This application resembled a real-life blackjack game between a player dealer. The application would act as the dealer by dealing and shuffling cards and choosing to “hit” or “stay”.
