Scoping new sites, designed, managed and delivered construction projects. This Included scoping, design, preparation of BoQs, approvals, supervision during construction, cost management, timely delivery and handing over to clients in the oil and energy industry.
I also delivered upgrades of operational sites with minimal interference to operations, therefore ensuring that clients were able to continue with the commercial aspect of a business during upgrades.
I advised clients on best possible practices that adhered to regulations and would deliver the project with least possible interference and hitches. Such sites required a high level of HSSEQ adherence
I headed the company’s CSR which involved upgrading and maintenance of several primary schools around the country
I was also involved in facility management of various commercial outlets such as restaurants
I participated in scoping and installation of solar panels various clients in the petroleum industry
I was involved in business acquisitions where I advised clients seeking to obtain business premises, on the quality of the outlet, adherence to regulations and projected cost improvement required before negotiations with potential clients.
I also participated in research and collection of data and creation of branding impressions
Finally, I was also able to train several junior staff to manage sites and therefore minimized the transport costs for the company. The junior staff members would then give regular updates about the progress and also escalate whenever faced with an issue beyond their technical ability.

I successfully headed and delivered research and gap analysis for Kenya Petroleum Technical Assistance Project (KEPTAP) project funded by World Bank. The tasks include; -
Comparing the local petroleum practices against existing international guidelines and give recommendations on what can adopted from the countries sampled.
Identifying the gaps in compliance for the local petroleum dispensing stations (about 4350 sites) vis a vis the existing laws in Kenya (KS:2506 and KS 1960)
Giving recommendations on what can be done to close the identified gaps

I visited Kenya Women Finance Trust’s (KWFT) clients in Machakos County; microfinance tailored at women, and surveyed the uptake of various products on the market from the client.
I also consolidated the research data into a summarized presentation format.
