Inspect completed and in-line welding procedures and processes. Inspect welds on propane tanks fabricated at J & J Die penetrant tests on propane piping and Aluminum as necessary. Final inspection of trucks, trailers, propane trucks and other fabricated products as needed. Conduct brake tests and lighting tests on trucks and trailers as part of the final inspection. Products would range in thickness from 16 Ga. To 1 inch in thickness of both Aluminum and Steel. Stainless steel tanks of 3/8” or less were fabricated as well. A36 Steel, 4043 Aluminum AND 309 Stainless were the primary grades of material used. A-571 was used on propane tanks and this material had to be verified from vendor tracked thru the entire fabrication process and turned over and verified to third party DOT inspector. (AI)
