POSITION : Piping Engineer (Test Pack)

DURATION : Augest-2017 To November 2018

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare test package according to test block provided by Client.

Review of all Mechanical piping test packages.

Assigning Test Pack numbering.

Confirm test medium is correct according to the line list and flushing method is correct

Confirm design pressure and test pressure is correct according to line list and within the

allowable pressure for the pipe specification.

Confirm filling points, venting points, and drains are acceptable.

Confirm test boundaries are reasonable - evaluate exclusion zones.

Confirm valves, instruments, etc. that need to be removed are identified.

Confirm pressure gauge and relief valve locations.

Confirm boundary limits of blowing packages are achievable.

Review and approval of all gross air and/or N2He leak testing packages - review includes

following activities.

Confirm leak test medium is correct- air or N2He.

Confirm boundary limits of gross air and /or N2He leak test packages are achievable.

Submit the test package for Client review and approval.

Follow up with Client on test package approval.

Review the test package status once the punch, punch kill activities and release for HT if

punch is cleared for HT.

Update the test package status.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily monitoring of piping erections and installations.

Verification of isometric drawings with respect to P & ID.

Verifying the water analysis report before filling the water.

Witnessing HYDRO, PNEUMATIC, SERVICE & VISUAL TESTS.

Witnessing AIR BLOWING and FLUSHING of every line prior to pressure testing.

Witnessing the LAY-UP (DRYNESS) PROCEDURE and measuring the DEW POINT temperature according to the clients specification to ensure a moisture free condition inside the closed system.

Prepare HYDRO TEST PACKAGE LINE CHECK & PUNCH LISTING

Check the piping alignment around pumps, vessels, columns, compressor and other machinery is within acceptable limits.

Inspection of gaskets supports valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest drawing.

Final reinstatement inspection for mechanical completion and piping completion to handover commissioning.

Attend weekly meeting.

Conform repairs re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications

Requesting of all NDT requirements to the different service lines prior to releasing of test package.
