Qualifications: Bachelors and Master’s degree in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia and Georgia Southern University where I graduated with a RN from MCG as well as a FNP degree from GSU. After 24 years of RN experience, I obtained a graduate degree in Family Practice from Georgia Southern University and am currently practicing as a ANCC Board certified APRN,FNP for the past 12 years. EMPLOYMENT:

--Memorial Health University July 1993-January 2007. Within my 25 Years of RN experience at a teaching hospital following a Perinatal/Pediatric Residency in 1993-1994, I worked in Perinatology, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU while assisting in the OR with surgery and recover. At this I time I was working at least 4 days per week in surgery/OR and Recovery to formulate a surgery plan with the patient and surgeon. I then joined the PRN pool of Memorial Health University where I rotated through the Med/Surgery Unit, Adult ICU’s, Rehab, Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Neonatal, NICU, and some Oncology.

This gave me the interest to return to Family Nurse Practitioner School where I have now been practicing as a ANCC Board Certified FNP for 12 years.

-Candler-St. Joseph’s Hospital March 2011-May 2013. Mostly Labor and Delivery, Neonatal, and Neonatal ICU.

Urgent Care needs from suturing, coughs, colds, I & D’s, Wound Care, toenail remover, abdominal issues, viruses, sick visits, falls, broken bones, eye injuries, occupational health, etc.-Basically full spectrum of care for most any walk-in urgent visits not requiring hospital staff or hospital admission.

-Hall Pediatrics March 2010-June 2011. Pediatrics from Newborn to Age 18. All patient needs-wellness visits, sick visits, medication, evaluation follow up, hospital admission if warranted, online pharmacy. Full spectrum care for all pediatric needs for all pediatric ages

-Metabolic Research Center March 2010-present PRN. H&P, physicals, diagnoses, implementing appropriate plan of care catered to the individual with weekly follow up evaluations, Vitamin B shots, HCG, weight management with dietary canceling.

-CVS Minute Clinic Georgia Coast February 2010-March 2013. Walk in Clinic-no appointment needed. Covered most walk in needs other than suturing, wound care: well visits, sports visits, sick visits, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, some would care, etc. Cough, Cold Flu, referral if need. DOT physicals, eye and ear care, and much more.

-United Health Care, Care Improvement Plus December 2013-August 2014.Home Health visits at the patient’s home or skilled nursing facility to gather H & P, assessment, diagnosis, formulate a plan of care, possible medical management with follow up to evaluate effectiveness.

-Community Health Mission/National Disease Management Center PRN December 2013-March 2014. Providing and Implementing Plans of Care for the Underserved Population.

Mostly Home Health and visiting Skilled Nursing Facilities for routine health visits to encompass assessment, diagnose, medication, management, hospice, palliative care with all referrals set up with follow up to assist with the patient achieving their optimal goal plan. Very Broad Spectrum of Practice due to years worked at this teaching hospital. Neonatal ICU, Perinatal/Pediatric Residency, OY/Surgery, ER, Neonatal NICU, pediatrics, geriatrics, wound care, circumcisions, management.

-Aesthetic Medical Educators Training Nashville, Tennessee certified by AMET completed May 2014. Botox and Restylane injections amongst other type of aesthetic fillers approved for cosmetic reasons.

May 2014 to January 2016: various locum tenens self contract under personal LLC including clinical care manager at Pediatric Services of America, surgery, internal medicine, VA QTC exams, family practice, pediatrics, aesthetic fillers and injections, medical weight management with medication management, dermatology, training new employees & teaching at Pediatric Services of America, chart review task force, suturing, stapling, wound care, patient education, referrals. There are some overlaps in employment history due to working more than one job at a time as I most often self-contract.
