Work Details:
Responsibilities include:
Inspecting site conditions to determine if hazards are present and to establish procedures and policies to overcome those hazardous situations. Look for broken equipment, defective tools, and other potential hazards, focusing on worker safety. Determine what type of personal protective equipment (PPE) is needed and make sure that workers know how to operate and use tools and equipment
Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment
Conduct toolbox meetings
Verify injury logs and reports are complete and submitted properly
Verify all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
Promote safe practices at the job site
Enforces safety guideline
Conducts investigations of all accidents and near misses
Conducts job hazard analyses
Performs emergency response drills
Responds to employees’ safety concerns
Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste
Receives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors
Arranges for OSHA mandated testing and or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies
Responsibilities as QCM included

Assist service orders to HVAC and plumbing technicians and other maintenance technicians as required.
Troubleshoots electric, electronic, and DDC control systems, including thermostats, relays, receivers, controllers, switches, damper motors and actuators, sequencers, sensors and tux boards.
Perform all levels of maintenance repairs on Mechanical equipment and plumbing; procures parts to repair or replace defective components on all types of Mechanical equipment and plumbing.
Makes recommendations on whether malfunctioning equipment should be repaired or replaced. Keeps supervisor aware of unusual or costly situations.
Responds to emergency situations involving Mechanical equipment and plumbing; coordinates the shutdown and restarting of HVAC systems during and after power outages.
Communicates with the building staff regarding the status of repairs and installations
Ensure maintenance is completed in a timely fashion, trend logs, PM records, work orders and other paper work as required by policies and regulations.
Provides information and training to staff concerning the operation and status of Mechanical, Electrical, Controls systems.
Administers the Quality Control program and ensure all work is the QC Plan, Contract and Industry Standards/ Specifications.
Coordinates with outside contractors for warranty, service and extended service.
Responsibilities as Frac Supervisor included:2006-2013
Executes onsite supervision of all stimulation jobs.
Performs a full range of supervisory responsibilities including assisting in and making recommendations regarding hiring, training, scheduling of work, grievances, performance counseling, and recommendations for promotions, demotions and termination of employment. Ensures that all relevant Human Resources and HSE policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
Reviews the job parameters and specifics with appropriate personnel in the preplanning stages of the job.
Verifies all dispatch information, load information, fluid, chemical, equipment are ready for service.
Instructs crew members in job procedures, route to location, convoy procedures, rig-up assignments, job assignments, monitoring safety equipment, monitoring communication equipment, and reviewing any special conditions.
Confirms DOT regulations are observed by all drivers.
Communications with the customer regarding the job before start, during, and after service complete.
Directs and supervises the designated representative to begin the equipment spotting procedure.
Conducts a safety meeting with crew prior to start up and during job if job changes occur after start up.
Reviews the finished project with crew when service is complete, and oversees clean up to prepare for return to home base.
Prepares reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Inspects work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
Instructs staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.
Investigates complaints about service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
Oversees equipment maintenance to ensure that it is in working order. Confirms all equipment if operational.
Identifies and recognizes changes in circumstances, with attentiveness to security violations or an emergency situation.
