• Checked to make sure paper and ink meet the required specs, and made adjustments to the margins and the flow of ink to the inking rollers as needed.

• Sent the material through the press cylinders, adjusting the feed and tension settings as necessary.

• Watched the presses and ensured that paper feeds were stocked abundantly.

• Made appropriate adjustments when issues with ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber occurred.

• Fixed problems, such as paper jams, quickly as possible to avoid excessive downtime.

• Performed preventive maintenance.

• Lubricated and cleaned the presses and performed minor repairs needed.
