Use information systems to locate and pick freight. Safely operate medium to large industrial equipment in the movement of freight to the Shipping Wing. Qualified on the reach truck, order picker, stand-up (forklift type), double and triple pallet riders and automatic freight depalletizer. While occupying the Core Depal position of Point Of Contact, used a Critical Mass Method of freight processing requiring a greater level of communication between Depal, Inbound Operational Managers and Outbound Point Of Contacts. This significantly reduced Sorter Control congestion while maximizing thru-put.

As a representative of the General Safety Team for the Outbound Department of my shift and key I prompted the use of cushioned floor mats on the Automatic Freight Depalletizer and on the floor of the Manual Throwing Lines. Called attention to the need for separate wood containers for broken pallet planks.
