Profile
Airat Ismagilov is a G&G expert with 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry. His core expertise areas include advanced formation evaluation using WL and LWD data, well integrity analyses, field integrated studies planning and petrophysical field model development, acoustics, project management, field operations, people mentoring, data science and programming. Airat served in 8 different locations on a large number of projects including early exploration; high-profile offshore; ERD and Ultra-ERD (up to 15 km); high volume and cost constrained onshore brown field projects. He worked within various geological environments like shaly sands, unconsolidated formations, thin-beds, unconventional, carbonates with complex pore structure (including Silurian deposits); evaluating gas, light hydrocarbons, oil and heavy oil saturation. Airat delivered advanced cement evaluation products and performed integrated studies determining cementing issues root causes.
As subject matter expert Airat supported Customers by advising of fit for purpose technologies for formation evaluation (LWD, WL, Sampling, Mud logging, coring), successful well placement and proper geomechanics risks management. Airat has strong client-centric mindset and solid presentation skills. Airat initiated and performed a few research feasibility studies intended to develop novel formation evaluation technics.
Airat is certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI and DataIKU DSS ML practitioner

Patents
US Patent US10890065B2. “Well infiltration area calculation using logging while drilling data”. Sep 12, 2016.
Patent describes a set of directional measurements are obtained for multiple measured depth intervals along the length of a wellbore. Based on the directional measurement sets, and for each measurement set, the locations corresponding to a portion of the well exposed to the reservoir rock are selected. The filtration area of the reservoir formation is calculated based on the selected locations in each measured depth interval. The filtration area is presented for display and analysis.
