Good knowledge in mechanical testing and analysis. Currently working as Mechanical Design Engineer in Astra microwave products Ltd, Hyderabad, Telangana, India from 13.07.2017 to till this date. Astra microwave products Ltd. is a design, development, and manufacturers for the systems used in defence, space, meteorology and telecommunication certified by ISO 9001:2008 and AS 9001.
Develop virtual models of different designs using CAD software and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible.
Find out the manufacturing requirements by examining materials and production costs.
Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required
Research competitor products quarterly and collaborate with product development team to generate ideas for making our products the best ones on the market.
Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labor, material, delivery and overhead.
Present designs and perform demonstrations of product prototypes for the approval of clients.
Evaluate the function, safety and appearance of products to ensure they have a practical design.
Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues’ progress, strategize on steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging product lines.
Perform modeling of mechanisms for kinematics, dynamics and force analysis.
Support strategic planning and deployment of additional CAE modeling processes to accelerate product development.
Provide stress and structural support to design and certification groups based on given geometry model.
