Job Responsibilities for Export Profile
Studying all Export procedure related to customs process, preparing pre-shipment documents, checklist approval and preparing post shipment documents like BL, COO and other documents as per LC requirements.
Handling PAN India Exim operation like follow up with own factory as well as other suppliers for material dispatch’s/stuffing schedule. Accordingly, intimating freight forwarders/Transporters to place container / vehicle at supplier plant for dispatches or CFS stuffing.
Floating RFQ to select successful bidder and arranging Freight Forwarder, CHA and Transporters for smooth and timely execution of consignments. Negotiation and maintaining service contracts with service providers to minimize logistics cost effectively.
Work closely with various suppliers, service providers to organize smooth dispatches, resolving problems and streamline export processes.
Responsible for checking / accuracy of all Shipping / Customs documents like BL, COO/GSP etc. Sending pre-alerts/ shipping documents and arrival notices to overseas customers.
Arranging documents from bankers to complete AD / IFSC Code registration formalities as and when required at various seaports / ICD's.
Bill booking of various service providers in SAP for payment process. After bill booking, submission in finance department and follow up with them for timely payment.
Handling day to day E-mail correspondence with overseas Customers, Supplier, Procurement team, Project Sites, CHA, Freight Forwarder / Shipping Line, Transporter etc.
Arranging Bank Advices, E-BRC & availing export benefits like Duty Drawback and MEIS),
Preparation of various MIS reports like shipment status, DBK/ MEIS Reports for export benefits.
Job Responsibilities for Import Profile:
Floating RFQ to select Freight Forwarder, CHA and Transporters for smooth and timely execution of consignments.
Coordination with overseas supplier for draft documents, verifying and giving approval.
Verification of check list and giving approval on the basis of shipping documents.
Timely processing of duty payments in Finance department for hassle free custom clearance formalities without demurrage / detention.
Monitoring shipments Status from POL to POD and ensuring timely delivery of goods within required time duration.
Sharing prior shipping / arrival information to concerned Project Team if any delay in estimated schedule time.
