Being highly trained and continuously training in all areas of Waste Management/Compliance, reactive chemicals and Emergency Response I’m able to provide superior service to our company and customers. My training and proficiencies include all areas of DOT, RCRA, TSCA and all areas of EPA and OSHA regulations/standards. Certified 40 Hour Hazwopper, Reactive Chemical Technician, Radioactive DOT trained and fluent in all Microsoft applications. October 2018 - Current: PSE&G Palisades Electric Division Senior Environmental Specialist – Regulatory Programs Responsibilities/Daily Tasks

Provides technical and regulatory direction, guidance and implementation of environmental compliance programs for the Utility operating locations and projects in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.

Responsible for management and oversight of spill response and remediation’s including those subject to NJDEP LSRP requirements, both on PSE&G facilities and off-site.

Responsible for assuring facility / project environmental compliance with federal, state and local regulations, permits and corporate guidelines including air, waste, PCB’s, water, UST, SARA, SPCC management and environmental audit process.

Prepare procedures relating to compliance with environmental requirements.

Develop and prepare reports to regulatory agencies. Independently interface with consultants and regulatory agency representatives to develop or discuss complex environmental issues / projects. Coordinate and guide environmental programs and compliance efforts. Identify and evaluate compliance trends and recommend corrective action or system improvements.

Oversee activities of employees and contractors addressing the environmental impacts of our operations on customer properties. Serve as liaison between project and operating locations on environmental issues. Ensure day to day operations are conducted in an environmentally compliant manner. Monitor and insure adherence to these standards by contractors during project work. Identify and address compliance gaps. Foster activities to establish utility-wide compliance programs where appropriate.

Support reporting environmental performance metrics as required and manage environmental costs and support budget development.

Comprehensive knowledge of electrical network systems to work with Overhead, Underground and engineering to facilitate outages.

June 2015-October 2018: PSE&G Gas Operations Health & Safety Health & Safety Coordinator Central Gas District

Responsibilities/Daily Tasks

Directly coordinate District H&S providing technical assistance and field expertise to field operations: interpretation and communications of regulations; new programs and procedures; statewide application and reporting of Job Site Observations; Job Hazard Analysis, Personal Protective Equipment, Industrial Hygiene; Accident Investigation; Contractor Safety; Annual Inspections; Defensive Driver Safety; Rescue Man Safety; etc.

Subject Matter Expert; provide advise; counsel and guidance to manager in support of Senior Leadership, LOB VP, Division Managers, LOB and local H&S Councils, PSEG H&S Council including policies and procedures, standards, system components and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate the implementation new methodologies, standards and processes to improve operations and productivity.

Provide critical support to review, analyze current work practices and matrixes, and determine root causes of personnel errors introduce new procedures to improve safety standards.

Provide field audits, training and inspections to keep consciousness levels high to reduce hazards, potential lost of time and on the job injuries and accidents.

Perform analysis of divisional H&S statistics to keep abreast of timely and accurate reporting to keep safety indexes to a minimum.

Support the review and assessment Federal, State and Local safety and health regulations including OSHA impacts on LOB.

Work with each district to implement and improve programs and procedures for compliance with all regulations promulgated by related state and local government agencies.

Act in compliance with leadership as an organization liaison for effective and consistent application of all PSEG safety components.

Provide team support and participate in accident/incident investigations, audits, inspections and other components of H&S.

Help prepare and maintain documentation and records regarding internal policies and procedures, practices, investigations, external agencies and OSHA requirements.

Work on Safety related task forces and work groups; helping to conduct and oversee safety and health surveys; safety topics and help to find and resolve issues and concerns as a member of a team or task force.

Provide regulatory guidance to all environmental issues related to waste compliance, sampling

& T/D operations.

Interpret RCRA, TSCA regulations and technical data to properly classify all waste for disposal.

Manage waste profiles, sampling, vendor contracts & performance.

Schedule various waste pickups and assure proper compliance is met on all shipping documents and associated requirements applicable to RCRA, DOT, OSHA & TSCA

Develop practices and procedures for hazardous materials, waste management programs and environmental field operations.

Additional duties also include recommending, updating and preparing multiple areas of waste management procedures and solutions that can streamline our department operations for safety, compliance, scorecard and financial goals. Determine the best approved disposal site and method for each customers individual waste streams

Utilize the Veolia AS-400 System to convert all completed and exported jobs

Provide assistance to Reactive Chemical Manager and team when needed to properly deal with unknown chemicals, chemical stabilization including temperature controlled and explosive compounds and mixtures

Transportation of all Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Wastes

Respond to and remediate hazardous spills as directed by managers

Complete all other paperwork and documentation as required or directed including daily job reports and logs

Technical sampling & interpretation of all lab data

Complete waste profiles as relevant to all waste streams using MSDS’s and specific customers information
