As a full-time LPN, I primarily work on the sub-acute unit. I also float to the long-term care unit when required.

I have performed duties as a temporary charge nurse in the past for three weeks and supervised a team of 3 LPNs and 5 CNAs.

Perform thorough assessments.

Provide treatments as per schedule and PCP orders and monitor residents for any adverse reactions.

Monitor vital signs: Blood pressure, Pulse, Respiration rate, SPO2, pain level.
