Demand Planning and Fulfillment Analyst (Oct 2006…. Current)

Planning, Forecasting and replenishing at distribution level of over 5000 SKU’s in various categories (e.g. Grocery, Tobacco, Beverage, Liquor, Over the counter pharmaceutical, Seasonal & General merchandise, Health and beauty aids etc.) for clients like North West Corporation including Giant Tiger, AGLC, Seven-Eleven based on sales forecasts and historical customer demand using JDA forecasting tool.

Develop and execute plan by combining the elements of collaborative demand plans, market intelligence, product availability, seasonality and prior forecast accuracy to meet customer goals and targets.

Provide in-depth analysis and reports on non-movement items along with loss/write-off value for monthly and quarterly audits. Optimize inventory across the network by identifying the root causes for out of stock and aged inventory.

Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

Responsible for performing independent management, coordination, and integrity control over historical demand data used for statistical forecasting by collaborating with the Customer, Replenishment Analyst, Market Analyst, Category Managers and Vendors to seek additional information use to enrich the demand plan.

Monitor, verify and maintain data accuracy within JDA forecasting tool on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
