ACCA part qualified accountant with a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting and Finance. Position: Articled Clerk – Senior Tax Accountant & Payroll Administrator (January 2018 to date)
Duties;
●Prepared income, VAT and withholding tax computations in Microsoft excel so as to advice clients on how much tax is payable to the tax authorities.
●Completing tax returns for submission to the tax authorities.
●Ensuring that all withholding tax payments and returns are paid and submitted on time by constantly communicating with clients and ensuring that everyone on the team is cooperating and working towards meeting deadlines.
●Processing payroll on a monthly basis to ensure that clients are able to process salaries and other statutory payments on time.
●Liaising with external third parties such as medical aid funds, pension funds and tax authorities to ensure that clients’ records and payments are up to date.
●Processing salaries and other statutory payment on behalf of clients.
●Compiling work done for each client on a monthly basis for billing and invoicing purposes.

●Ensuring files are moved to the Recovery Unit after verification of the debt for recovery of funds from the beneficiaries.
