Worked with Drilling Contractors for new build rigs starting in shipyards, transit and drilling operations. Duties included recruit and manage HSE staff at shipyard, shore base and rig locations. Worked with Drilling Contractors management to ensure smooth alignment for procedures, and reporting.

Conduct inspections, audits and permitting for Louisiana, Texas and Gulf of Mexico operations. Developed and implemented Health Safety & Environmental programs based on OSHA, Federal and State Environmental, DOT, MMS and ISO 14001 requirements and standards. HSE Manager for ABB Offshore Construction Division contracted to develop, engineer, construct and commission a Tension Legged Platform (TLP) for a major operator.

Scope of project consists of engineering studies including HSE pre-engineering, contracting shipyards, fabrication and manufacturing yards, and facilities in three different Continents to fabricate and construct TLP in modules with final integration and commissioning being completed in Angola Africa. Serve as HSE focal point and to ensure Hazards Management is in line with the ABB and client HSE Management Systems, and that HSE deliverables are provided on time and in alignment with project requirements.
