JOB DESCRIPTION:

MANAGEMENT ROLE:

HEAD FOR THE QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ACCREDITITATION COMMITTEE & SCHEDULING AND EXAMINATION COMMITTEES

To check the course folder for all the female staff in the department and prepare a report of missing documents.

Conduct meetings with the staff to give instructions about the preparation of course folder after every semester as per NCAAA standard.

Assign invigilation duties throughout the semester for Quizzes, Midterm and Final exams.

Prepare class schedule for all female staff in the department prior to every semester.

Visiting classes to check the quality of the teaching and send report s to the head of the department.

Meeting with the teacher and students to solve any complaint issue with the department head and write minutes of meeting.

Established Physics laboratory for the Engineering students. Planned a Chemistry practical manual for upcoming “General chemistry” for the Industrial engineering students.

Check the books prescribed for the courses and compared t hem with the other colleges to develop the curriculum and see what topics to remove or add.

LECTURER ROLE:

Served as a Physical science and Ecology instructor from the year 2008-2011, my responsibility was to teach both male and female undergraduate students.

Apart from regular lecture sessions, my responsibilities also included counseling and mentoring students on the personal and academic bent. I have 25-30 academic advisees, under my guidance; my responsibility towards them is career guidance.

Also worked as NCAAA (Humanities committee member. I was responsible for writing self-study SSR Report for 4.10 substandard (Field experience activities)

I was coordinator of Quality department committee from the 2010-2013 and was responsible to check course syllabus of all the female faculties in the humanities department. In addition, was a coordinator for Examination and Scheduling committee, responsible for arranging invigilators and preparing examination schedules, preparing faculties schedules etc

Arranged every semester events, campaigns, field trips to enhance the knowledge of the concepts learnt in Course .To name few were –Arab Environment day, World water day, Earth day, Recycle exhibition, Save earth, save mankind.
