PROJECT PROFILE

Project: “Assessment of water storage in a small-scale Reservoir using remote sensing Data”.

DESCRIPTION:

To address this challenge on attempt is made to estimate the small storage tank capacities as a function of their surface area using SRTM and CARTOSAT. A DEM Analysis was carried out to establish a power relationship between the surface area and storage capacity of small tanks. This will be reduced manpower and time consumption.
