• Highlighted the Quality Control items for tasks/work that was on the three week look ahead to make sure the QC requirements were met for all tasks/work. Got with the foreman and engineers to make sure QC requirements were met on the project.

• Made sure the QC paperwork was properly filled out and sent to the client after the inspections were performed.

• Sent inspection requests to the inspectors and coordinated the on site QC testing and lab testing of samples taken on site. Also transmitted the lab test results to the client.

• Performed on site testing of concrete and soil cement placements- took cylinders for compressive strength testing, performed the slump test and air content test of concrete.

• Took daily measurements of the dewatering wells and the monitoring wells levels for the deep excavations on the project. Performed Sand Rossum tests for the dewatering wells and monitored the gallons per minute that were being produced by the wells and surveyed the buildings around the dewatering wells for settlement and reported these daily to the client. Including the weekends and the holidays.

• Helped develop the baseline schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software and updated the schedule monthly for the Progress Payments. Also prepared Pay Application submittal for payment.

• Updated the Schedule of Values(SOV) monthly for the projects. Walked the work with the client and agree to what percentage of work was complete and then update the SOV and P6 schedule with that information and would submit monthly submittals for the Progress Payment. Attended the monthly Progress Payment meetings and fix any errors in the P6 Schedule(i.e. out of sequence work or the amount being billed) to match the SOV.

• Updated the As-Builts for the projects through Bluebeam, and the clients PM Web software.

• Generated the Daily Reports for projects in CMiC, took daily photos of the progress in the work and submitted these weekly to the client.

• Prepared/Reviewed Submittals and RFI’s and sent documents to the client through CMiC. Also tracked down submittals from subcontractors and made sure they were submitted in a timely manner and reviewed them before sending them to the client.

• Performed Safety walks on the projects verifying crews had proper safety paperwork and equipment checklists. Also identified safety issues on the projects and SWPPP/BMP were in place. Walsh Construction Co.: Inglewood, CA. Project Engineer 2/18- 4/19

• Tracked Quality Incident Reports(QIR’s)-Verify the root cause of the incident, the details of the incident, how it is to be corrected, how to prevent it in the future, effect it has on the project(schedule/cost)

• Oversaw Workflows for NCR’s and RFI’s- I ran reports through “World App” that showed which step the document was in and sent out email alerts too the pertinent parties to notify them of the NCR’s/RFI’s that were in their court.

• Review Daily Inspection Reports and Certified Welding Inspection Reports- Looked for any issues in the reports and made sure that the issues were being addressed and if not, I would notify the proper people to get the issue addressed. Verified that the work on the Schedule was getting inspected.

• Processed the Pay Applications for the Subcontractor Inspectors Contracts- Review the invoices for accuracy, made sure we weren’t getting over billed. Processed the Pay Apps and then submit them to accounting.

• Generated the Change Orders for the Subcontractor contracts when more budget is needed to be added to the contract.

• Worked with Managers on closing out NCR’s and NNC’s

• Reviewed Material Receiving Inspection Reports-made sure all documents were there and that the material conformed to the “Buy America” requirements of the project.

• IT Support for World App- I addressed any problems that would arise, modify the document pages, did some minor coding and piping in the system.

• Reviewed the Concrete Compression sheets to make sure everything conformed to the specifications.
