Able to monitor and read Tele strips and monitor EEG recordings. Able to do Ictal specs and monitor neuro/surgical patients and do neuro testing during seizures and also involved in monitoring research Patients under video cameras
Evaluation: Work effectively with interdisciplinary team and perform accurate charting procedures. Learn to chart SOAP, PIE, by EXCEPTIONS- using various computer programs ie Meditech, Epic, and Citix. Successfully recommended and implemented changes to Medical and EMU regarding assignments, delegations and Prioritization, resulting in a higher standard of patient care and reassess/revised Plan of Care as needed-Work well with other Co- workers, Nursing Supervisors, and other Depts.
