Hello, I am Dennis Healy!

The first thing you will notice

is that I am a dwarf or preferably a referred to as a “Little Person”.

Secondly you will find that I am outgoing and have friendly attitude as I try to welcome anyone who crosses my path.

Having been born a

“Little Person” I have uniquely had to overcome many obstacles and boundaries in both my personal and professional life experiences. Because of this I believe that I have a strong can-do attitude and I work hard to get the job done.

As you will see my accomplishments in my career history will demonstrate my extensive and rewarding career in various positions and experiences.

My professional career began as a volunteer fireman and soon after led to becoming a fire/rescue dispatcher for the same town. This began my career with the desire to help others the best way possible.

During my career as a 911 Dispatcher I experienced and met the needs of the stress of this position. I had to focus on the needs of a 24/7 world often prioritizing work over my personal life at times.

My resume will show that there were breaks in my 911 career where I had focused on family. I went onto private sector jobs to do so.

After a few years, the call to serve would bring back my desire to serve my community and that is what I would proudly do so again for several years.

I have served my communities in other ways as well. Serving with organizations from the local community theater to assisting at food banks.

I proudly belonged Lion’s Club, served on community boards and organizations.

My favorite and fun role for the past 35 years is that of my self-created character “Dennis The Christmas Elf” visiting children’s hospitals and serving the families of public safety for several agencies in my area as any families who call upon me.
