With Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. Hindustan Petroleum is India’s third- largest oil refiner ( Indian Oil is # 1 & Bharat Petroleum # 2 ) and account for more than 20

% of the country’s total refining capacity. The company has two major refineries – ( Mumbai & Visakhapatnam ) and 3rd one in Bhatinda,Punjab in Joint venture and produces entire range of petroleum products along with lubricants and market them thru a network of 8000 retail stations and more than 2800 nos. LPG distributorships. Recently Corporation has ventured out in Oil Exploration and production of Ethanol & CBG. 2

[C ]Key Achievements

2013-20

Secured allotment of Government Land from UP Government for Compressed Biogas Plant at a highly concessional rate amid tight competition thereby saving around Rs.1350 Lacs to the Corporation.

Coordinated with M/s EIL for the selection of Licensor for 2G Ethanol Project proposed in Uttar Pradesh thru Global Tendering.

Coordinated with Licensor for the preparation of Basic Design Engineering Package [ BDEP] .

Coordinated with PMC for the preparation of Front End Engineering Design [FEED] .

Implemented M B Lall recommendations for strengthening the safety features of Petroleum Location in the Corporation’s North Zone Installations in J & K, Punjab, Haryana & Delhi.

2001-2012

Increased market share of LPG marketing from 16 % to 20 % in State of Bihar by improving the infrastructure facilities and network expansion in a span of three years. Appeared in Patna Doordarshan in panel discussion on Fuel conservation and improvement of LPG coverage in State of Bihar.

Instrumental in converting the fuel usage from alternative source to commercial LPG in Sudha Dairy,Patna and thus achieved major sale portfolio in the state.

Ensured uninterrupted LPG Plant operation without any breakdown for 5 consecutive years by effective implementation of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance schedule. Received Greentech Safety Award for the Operation and Maintenance of LPG Plant two years consecutively.

1993-2001

Ensuring uninterrupted and trouble free operation of Cross-Country pipeline for 4 years and thereby increasing the transportation of Petroleum Products from 1.33 MMTPA to 4.5 MMTPA . Supervised the Operations and Maintenance of Petroleum storage locations .

Ensuring ISO -9002 : 2001 certification of Cross-Country pipeline and acted as Management Representative to ensure the implementation of ISO in the Operation and Maintenance of the pipeline.
