My volunteering experience includes the following:

Mail Room Volunteer-

Delivered mail throughout the hospital; sorting letters, processing incoming and outgoing mail, putting postage on letters.

Stamped packages and larger envelopes using the postal machine.

Customer Service Way-Finder- Front Desk Greeter-

Interacted with all Veterans and other personnel in a friendly manner, welcoming them to the VA and offering any necessary assistive services.

Stationed at the desk and served as the first point of contact for Veterans, family members, and guests, alongside VA staff.

Escorted non-emergent, ambulating Veterans to their destination and upon returning to the desk would look for other Veterans who may be lost or confused and aid.
