Experience Details

2018 – 2020 Chevron Pascagoula Refinery, Pascagoula Mississippi

Pascagoula Units for the Chevron Oasis Program. Engaged in work sharing project with Navi Mumbai office by communicating daily for doing design work, coordination with Design Logs, and provide technical advice and recommend solutions to resolve piping layout per model review comments. Reviewing all disciplines squad check and Equipment Location Plan drawings, Tie-in Location Plat Plans, Also Instruments control valves, FE, TE, TI, Level Gauges and Level Transmitters data sheets for the phase 2/3 estimate. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

Responsibilities include supervising Mumbai Modelling for the Area being work on, including all types of vessels for new nozzles for level transmitters/gauges or any kind of instrument connections. Assisted designer in workshare from Navi Mumbai office in resolution of piping lay-out problems during phase three execution. All field work was collected by a Houston team going Pascagoula Mississippi. Field work included the creation of a Laser Scan Plot plan to be ready for scan team and field walk-down PIDS of scope of work.

Also, the creation of a Tie-in location Plot Plan, Control Station Plan Location, Tie-in Photos, Tie-in packages, UT packages, Hydro-Concept packages and the sketching of new control stations. Walk-down with Chevron operations to approve location of control stations.

All of this was done using the following software SP3D, Laser Scan, Smart Plant JPI, Auto Cad, Blue Beam and Microsoft software to execute this project.

2018 – 2018 BP Whiting Indiana, BP Products North America Inc.

The project scope includes Unit No.2 Isomerization/Pipe still 11A and different units within the ISBL scope of piping work.

This job was a work share Houston /India (Mumbai) Project which we had the responsibility of supervising India for the SP3D/PDS modelling Units they have worked on. Assisted designer in workshare from Navi Mumbai office in resolution of piping lay-out problems during phase three execution. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

Duties included various responsibilities, creating and locating tie-in list, Tie-in Location plot plan and preparing demo P&ID’s, demo photos for tie-in’s package and checking isometrics for Issuing for comments / Approval and IFC. Re-routed existing pipe lines of different equipment within the ISBL per the piping scope of work.

All of this was done using the following software PDS, SP3D, Laser Scan, Smart Plant JPI, Auto Cad, Blue Beam and different software to execute this project.

2017 – 2018 BP Cherry Point, Seattle Washington, BP West Coast Cherry Point Refinery

The project scope included the ISBL and OSBL units such us the Coker Heater and Coker fuel gas lines. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

This job was a share Houston /India (Baroda) Project which we had the responsibility of supervising India for the modelling they have worked on. Assisted designer in workshare from Navi Mumbai office in resolution of piping lay-out problems during phase 3/4 execution.

This project was done a little bit different from a regular job which was done in phases such as Pre-Turn-Around, Turn-Around, Post-Turn-Around, Start-Up and Demolition.

Duties included creating and locating tie-in list, Tie-in Location plot plan and preparing demo P&ID’s, demo photos for tie-in’s package, demo sketches checking isometrics for Issuing for comments / Approval and IFC. Re-routed existing pipe lines of different equipment within the ISBL as needed per the piping scope of work.

2017 – 2017 Exxon-Mobil Refinery, Baytown Texas

The project scope included the ISBL and OSBL units for the Tight Oil Project. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

This was a project that required revamping some of the ISBL units per piping scope of work. Also it was a share Houston /India Project which we had the responsibility of supervising India for the modelling they have worked on. Assisted designer in workshare from Navi Mumbai office in resolution of piping lay-out problems during phase 3/4 execution.

Duties included field assignment with various responsibilities: field walk-down PIDS per piping scope, locate tie ins, hang tie-ins tags, create tie-in list, tie-in location plan and field sketch Isometrics to provide to India to do their modelling.

All of this was done using PDS, Laser Scan, JPI, Auto Cad, Blue Beam and other software to execute this job.

2016 – 2017 Shell Chemical Company, Geismar Louisiana

The project scope included the ISBL and OSBL units called -The A04 Expansion Project. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

This job was a share Houston /India (Mahape) Project which we had the responsibility of supervising India for the modelling they have worked on and providing them with information needed to execute the job successfully.

Duties included working pipe lay-out on module piping and stick built piping and re-routing pipe lines per the newest pipe lay-out and PIDS. Also re-sending isometrics to be stressed per latest changes of pipe scope. All of this work was done in the India office but reworked/remodelled in the Houston office.

All of this was done using PDS, Laser Scan, JPI, Auto Cad, Blue Beam and other software to execute this job.

2013 – 2014 Phoenix Project, Texas Petrochemical Company (TPC), Deer Park, Texas

The scope of work for the Phoenix Project includes refurbishment and re-commissioning of the DH-2 and that portion of the MTBE unit. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

This job was a share Houston /India Project which we had the responsibility of supervising India for the modelling they have worked on and providing them with information needed to execute the job successfully.

Duties included field assignment with various responsibilities: Locate tie-ins, hang tie-ins tags, and sketch Isometrics in units IBC, MTBE and DH2, and doing piping lay-out for DH-2 Flare KO Drum and pumps. Replaced multiple Control Valves Stations, Also I checked isometrics for the OSBL and ISBL units and making sure we meet all the schedules dates.

This project was done using PDS, Laser Scan, JPI, Auto Cad and other software to execute this job successfully.

2011 – 2013 BP Texas City Refinery, Texas City, Texas

BP Units for the BP-TACP-Program included the DHT, RHU, Pipe Still A/B, CHU, SRU, FCC3 units and Raising the Benzene Pipe Lines Project. Engaged in work sharing project with Navi Mumbai office by communicating daily for doing design work, coordination with Design Logs, and provide technical advice and recommend solutions to resolve piping layout per model review comments. Reviewing all disciplines squad check and Equipment Location Plan drawings, Tie-in Location Plat Plans, Also Instruments control valves, FE, TE, TI, Level Gauges and Level Transmitters data sheets for the phase 2/3 estimate. In addition, as part of the refurbishment effort, system will be upgraded to meet current safety, environmental and operation standards.

This job was a share Houston-70% /India-30% Project which we had the responsibility of supervising India for the modelling they have worked on, and providing India with all information needed for to execute successful project.

Responsibilities included field walk-down PIDS per scope of work to create a Scan location plan for the Laser Scan team. Also, the creation of a Tie-in List, Tie-in location Plot Plan, Control Station Plan Location, Tie-in Photos and the sketching and routing of pipe lines in the model. New control stations locations were walked-down with BP operations for approval.

All of this was done using the following software PDS, Laser Scan, Smart Plant JPI, Auto Cad, Blue Beam and Microsoft software to execute this project.
