Responsibilities:

Visiting the site Premises (Offshore) and carries out regular weekly/ Monthly QHSE inspection of all the facilities, housekeeping, material, tools and equipment. And advise the respective supervisor and inspector on the best realistic and reasonably practicable controls.

To provide, with full responsibility and accountability, a technical service to Corporation in the areas of Health and Safety during definition, detailed design and execution stages to ensure Contractor(s) compliance to established HSE policies, procedures and regulations.

Carries out duties and responsibilities for all areas of work covered in HSE aspects of the Project. Ensures adherence by ADNOC and Contractor personnel to HSE policies, procedures and regulations with respect to active/passive fire safety systems, special protection systems, life safety and fire risk assessment, safety studies/reviews, security systems, emergency response programs, emergency lighting and communication systems. etc.

Responsible for monitoring related activities within project sites and conducting daily inspection and ensuring the work being carried out is in line with approved JSA, Risk Assessment, and Method Statement and approved Permit to Work System.

Participate and assist in checking and reviewing method statements, JSA's, safety certifications and other related documents submitted by Contractors/ Project Consultant. To take necessary action by highlighting and reporting to immediate Supervisor in case of any lapse and/or lagging.

Participate and provide inputs to HSE Advisor for the implementation of Project HSE Performance Monitoring, HSE Objectives and Initiatives, HSE related procedures, guidelines, standards and policies to ensure activities are conducted in a safe, secure and healthy manner and in compliance with HSE and Corporate requirements.

Monitor implementation of HSE Legal requirements, regulatory bodies, national laws and regulations, and State of UAE-ratified international conventions and protocols within Project activities.

Travel to various locations to coordinate, analyze, and review accident trends, hazards, and near misses.

Compile data at assigned work sites on overall safety protocols and make process improvement recommendations based off observed data.

Maintain and reviews all QHSE daily/ weekly/ monthly reports and ensure that all the reports are submitted to the head of QHSE. Maintain record of journey management plan, vehicle pre use checklist, driver’s attendance log and vehicles receiving records.

Prepare annual QHSE internal plan to evaluate and identify the training need of particular job specific training, conduct induction training, internal trainings, TBT meetings and QHSE meetings.

Participate in incident investigation and recommend robust corrective and preventive action plan to respective department.

Conduct fire extinguisher’s inspection and fire alarm system testing on monthly basis and conduct the fire drill in coordination with client and local authorities.

Review and monitor daily and monthly KPIs and analyze reports on various measurable factors against benchmarked figures (i.e. Manpower productivity, Lost time injury, etc.) Working with the team to create meaningful actions to achieve agreed goals.
