Provides physical security services as an Access Control Specialist. Assists FBI Police in the
Security Operations Center at Headquarters and in the Communications Center (CC) at Quantico
monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTVs), maintaining appropriate automated and manual
logs, journals and computer databases. Responsible for providing security through the
management of personnel access (to include domestic and foreign dignitaries) to restricted areas
and facilities. Produces/issues badges for new employees including contractors, task force
members, etc. ensuring that appropriate accesses are incorporated into the badge and that
appropriate designations are reflected on the badge itself. Processes visitor access in support of
high visibility conferences and coordinates other visitor requirements in support of the security
mission. At Quantico, in the CC, performs duties associated with emergencies (medical, bomb
threat, fire) including notifying the appropriate responders (FBI Police, Fire & Rescue, Medical
Personnel), operating emergency vehicles, directing traffic, and establishing crowd control.
Access Control Specialists will monitor overall physical security (alarm systems, CCTV)
systems as specified by the Security Division, and are responsible for performing the above tasks

are not limited to: Implementing, monitoring and operating FBI access control systems. Ensures
the FBI access control security system; processes, procedures, and policies comply with

background criminal checks on potential visitors seeking Academy access. Creates badges and
photographs for Role Player badges.
Provides the FBI Police with copies of daily list of expected visitors, contractor access lists and
visitor notification forms. Reviews expected visitor notification forms to ensure that proper
clearances are in place and that visitors are cleared in FSS. Completes fingerprints for potential
visitors and individuals seeking Limited Background Investigations. Fingerprints and assists
potential vendors, contractors, or visitors with paperwork for security clearances. Creates a bi-
weekly access list and disseminates it to all FBI Police posts. Completes monthly report that
includes contractors, visitors, one-day access, and fingerprints completed. Answers telephone
and provides advice on admitting potential visitors to the facility. Assists FBI Police with issuing
warrants arranging transportation to Rappahannock Regional Jail. Assists FBI Police Unit with
other administrative actions.
Access Control Specialist, Man Tech International Corporation, Stafford, Va. 2015-2016
Major Function: Serves as security support to government facilities. Functions independently
preparing and issuing badges to incoming personnel. Duties include but not limited to
maintaining records of all badges and their status. Requires input of daily updating of the
computer for all authorized visitors. Maintains visitor control and verification processes.

Access Control-VRL: Measurement:
1) Work VRL and respond to requestor and access control
a. Provide requestor with Clearance Level, RTEC on file and if a VR is required
b. Work VRL until it s 100% complete all VR s and RTEC s received
c. If additional add ons, validate the information and ensure that approvals are in place
d. Update the daily visitor logs with the names of the incoming visitors.
e. If contractor is coming for an elevated meeting work with the meeting coordinator on creating
the RTEC. Validate the Security portion of the RTEC and ensure that the requestor received PM
and PO approval prior to allowing visitor access.
Access Control-Badging: Measurement:
1) Issue temporary badges to Employees
a. Report all lost employee badges to the FSO
2) Issue appropriate level badge for incoming visitors
a. This is based on the need-to-know in the Visit Request Log (VRL), verification of Clearance
Level in JPAS, and badging in accordance with the classification level of the event
b. Validate approved photo ID for all incoming visitors, and if this is an UNCLASS meeting
request a verbal attestation that the visitor is a U.S Citizen if we did not receive notification from
their organization by Fax/JPAS
c. If VRL is not submitted contact meeting coordinator and ensure appropriate approvals are
obtained
d. If the visitor is on the daily logs and does not have a current VR on file obtain management
approval to check JPAS and allow a 1-day visit
3. Provide guidance/explanation of badging policies to internal and external customers
Daily Visitor Logs: Measurement:
1) Maintain daily visitor logs
a. Check to ensure all badges were returned and accounted for, and if they were not reach out to
meeting coordinator and access control.
b. Print the daily logs for all visitors each day and update the binder
c. Ensure that all visitors are populated on daily logs and consolidate paper copies
Open/Close Facility: Measurement:
1) When on the closing schedule ensure that all areas are free and clear of classified material,
safes are secured and sign off on the 702s, and 701s. Spin the X09s to ensure they are secured,
set the alarm and once secured all areas notify Stanley Security and ensure that it was a good
closing.
2) When on the opening schedule ensure that all areas were properly closed (all X09s were spun,
and logs were completed. Turn off the alarm and if any there are any discrepancies notify the

Access Control Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of
this contract and will act as the central point of contact to the Government. The Access Control
Supervisor will supervise all personnel required to perform access control duties as stated in the
SOW. The Access Control Supervisor will be at all times responsible to the Contracting Officer
for the operational functions and duties required in the performance of this contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
