Responsible for the engineering works from design, specification and configuration of control and analytical systems including DCS, PLC and SCADA. Provide technical support to new projects through review of design documents and specifications to ensure good operating practice and expertise is incorporated. Review of instrument and control systems vendor drawings and data. Communicate effectively with the suppliers, clients and other engineering disciplines for detailed design issues. General Job Description:
The nature of the job is software development and control systems Engineering using Yokogawa builder Window based software - CS3000/CentumVP system. The system design is for plant automation and controls usually implemented on FPSO, petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical plants and other batch processes. Other systems include SCADA and PLC programming.

System Engineer. Responsible for the engineering works from functional specification, design and generation, testing and debugging, and factory testing, to recovery. Prepares engineering data, documents, and drawings for detailed/basic design of DDC feedback control, sequence control, graphics, logging and man-machine interface function for customers’ approval. Maintains software quality by conducting review at every project milestone. Understands customer requirements by using customer documents such as SAMA drawing, P&ID, Process Flow Diagram and/or by conducting/attending technical clarification meetings in order to prepare the functional specification, which will adequately meet customers’ needs. Involved in DCS Commissioning and Start-up, software modification, loop/sequence check for logic and interlocks, subsystem interface/communication testing with DCS, and PID fine tuning.
