I am Dr Hameed Banjo Oguntade, a medical doctor with interest in prevention and management of kidney disease. I am enthusiastic about plans and concepts that can reduce the burden of kidney disease in Nigeria and Africa at large. I am eager to learn and strengthen my knowledge in renal medicine with a professional goal of becoming an excellent nephrologist, a lecturer, and a public health administrator. I am currently a senior registrar in Nephrology at the Federal Teaching Hospital Ido-Ekiti, Nigeria, where I provide care to patients, carry out research and teach junior registrars, interns and medical students. Coordinated the activities of this programme and enrolled over 70 women with HIV during this period.

Screened over 1000 women for HIV during this period

Institutionalized that all pregnant women undergo HIV voluntary counselling and testing

Commenced medication and provided monthly monetary incentives to all pregnant women with HIV enrolled under this programme.

Ensured that HIV exposed baby are placed on medication and given adequate follow up

Supervised the training of traditional birth attendants
