Good Sport Media/ Communications Intern
January 2019 - April 2020
Good Sport Media, is a company focused on sharing the stories of female athletes. As an intern there, I wrote and found cool interesting story ideas, which lead to articles. In addition, I conducted interviews and fact checked articles, which were set to be posted on the website as well. The Daily Tar Heel/ Sports Writer
January 2018 - December 2019
I worked as a sports writer at The Daily Tar Heel for many years. Over that time, I wrote a wide range of articles covering all types of sports including: volleyball, baseball, field hockey, tennis and wrestling. I would be sent to different sporting events to cover them, sit in the press box, communicate with SIDs and interview athletes and coaches after the game. I would work on a deadline and submit my article to my editor shortly after the game concluded.
The University of North Carolina/ Guest Services Coordinator August 2017 - December 2019
As a guest services coordinator, I worked with clients who reserved spaces in the Carolina Union for events and acted as their main contact person for the duration of their event. I helped the clients with any task they asked. In addition, I served as the front desk person for the union, and I answered various questions any guest had. As a coordinator, I supervised a staff of 30 student employees, trained new employees and attended bi-weekly meetings with management.
Sports Xtra / Student Reporter
August 2018 - December 2018
Sports Xtra is a student run sports show, which is run by students at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and airs once a week. As a member, I used a video camera and traveled to various University of North Carolina sporting events to shoot film.I also interviewed athletes and coaches after the event. I then used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and create highlight video. After creating the video, I wrote a script for the anchor to read as the hghligh is shown.

October 2017 - January 2018
As an NBA Writer Intern, I was responsible for writing two articles per week that were posted on the website. While writing these articles, I conducted interviews, edited and fact checked my own stories and worked on a deadline. After these articles were posted, I used social media to promote the stories as well.

I am well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Inspiration and the use of the World Wide Web. I can also use Adobe products like Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. I can utilize various audio editing software like Adobe Audition and Audacity as well. I am well versed in Google Chrome, and I can use Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Calendar. I have Customer Service experience, and host events. I am well versed in using social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. I can also use WordPress, and Wix to create websites.
