WORK EXPERIENCE:
Mechanical Design Engineer -Intern at Danfoss Industry Private Limited. Worked on project related to, ‘Design and optimization of heatsink for AFE Drive’ with the help of Creo and Flotherm Software.
PROJECTS:
Design and optimization of heat-sink for high power drives. (Using Creo and Flotherm).
Heatsink has a wide use in drives and many electrical devices. Electrical devices are updated day by day because of which heat transfer issues will occur more in number. There by this makes important to understand the design and optimisation of heatsink.
Study of effect of hydroplaning on vehicle dynamics. (using ABAQUS). Hydroplaning is the phenomenon where tire will lose its contact with the road when a thin layer of water film is present on road. This makes loose the control on steering. Hydroplaning depends on speed, film thickness, tire thread pattern and so on.
Buckling analysis of composite shells (using ABAQUS). Shells have wide range of use in marine, space, aeroplanes, submarines, missiles etc., this makes important to study how the failure of shells occurs.
Static and Dynamic analysis of hybrid composite beam made of carbon and glass fibres. (Practical)
As the use of composite materials is increasing widely in many areas, it is important to study composite material properties. By performing Dynamic analysis composite material properties can be studied.
Study of Super cavitation on a supercavitating body (using ANSYS-Workbench) Supercavitation is the phenomenon used to in submerged bodies to increase the velocity by overcoming the frictional resistance between the surface of the body and water. There by velocity can be increased.
Heat transfer characteristics of TiO2 nanofluid in a plain tube using twisted tape inserts. (B. tech Final, Project-Practical).
Heat transfer in normal fluid will be slow. To improve the heat transfer characteristics of the fluids, nanoparticles are made to suspend in the fluid to obtain required heat transfer properties.
INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE & WORKSHOPS:
Attended workshop on Additive Manufacturing and 3d printing at VIT University.
Attended workshop and training class on Hypermesh at VIT University.
Completed internship training on ‘Study of Gas Turbines’ at BHEL Hyderabad.
Completed Mini project at Rane Engine Valve Limited.
Attended Industrial visit conducted by Mechanical Department, VJIT at Air co. Fin tubes & Nu-Way Heat Exchangers.
Attended workshop on ‘Fastrack Assembly & Disassembly Workshop’ conducted by Ezenith Education Ltd held in VJIT, Hyderabad.
