Roles & Responsibilities

Be responsible for monitoring the company plant and office's compliance with environmental, health and safety law and providing advices to both operations and office colleague on the work environment

Manage the existing safety precaution, measures, and SOP, give constructive and practical suggestions for improvement, routine factory inspection, actively promote occupational health and safety as well as monitor the execution of the rules

Handle EHS issues, investigate, collect evidence, and closely follow up with the workers for any claims and support

Participates in the review of written programs and supporting documentation to meet safety management system requirements

Conducts trends analysis and reporting of results against key EHS metrics (I & I rate, training compliance %, audit closure rate, etc.) to clients to drive reduction in injury & illness rates

Works with clients to develop, implement and improve safety action plans geared toward injury reduction

Provides direct client services support to various departments on matters of environmental, health & safety

Work closely with external parties like Labor Department for case presentation

Responsible for ensuring that managers, supervisors, and employees are carrying out their roles in compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsible for ensuring maintaining and submitting the environment legal compliance documents on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Responsible in carrying out investigations of safety incidents, Near miss & Accidents if any. Recording and investigating and accidents or incidents. Performing root cause analysis for incident/accident investigations.

Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE) management which involves Maintaining inventory of PPE’s, planning for procurement, coordinating with concerned team for PPE procurement on periodic basis, Arranging PPE in designated location, maintaining Hygiene of PPEs and distribution of PPEs to employees.

Carrying out site safety inductions for new joiners

Preparation & Maintenance of all relevant documents for HSSE audits.

Identifying staff training requirements, developing plans, and rolling out & Conducting trainings as per the training plan

Conducting audits on periodic basis, identifying gap analysis, developing action plan and follow up for the closure plan

Making regular site inspections & responsible for issuing detailed daily /weekly /monthly safety reports including all accidents /incidents, hazards and observed Near miss
