DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpret layout and shop drawings for both electrical and instrumentation.
Communicate engineering/technical/ quality requirement to team individual
Enforce working schedule and targets of projects.
To lead and to carry out tasks pertaining to electrical and instrumentation construction activities.
Ensure that routine construction procedures are followed correctly and recorded.
Maintain safe work environment, and ensure that team members adhere to safe working practices.

Perform and direct maintenance and repair of instruments / equipments in allocated area
Schedules and assigns maintenance tasks to subordinate technicians and follows-up to ensure proper completion.
Participates in or carries out troubleshooting of complex and more routine faults as required. Ensures that maintenance schedules are adhered to, records are updated and that all activities are carried out in accordance with company's Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
Participate in the assigned plant shutdown activities and ensure timely completion of job activities.
Calibration of various instruments in the field and functional checking of control valves.
Preventive maintenance of different types of actuator cylinder, self acting cylinder, double acting cylinder, spring return cylinder.
Engaged in preparation of different instrument to be mounted, check and calibrate such like pressure gauge, switches and transmitters from various bench calibrations to field calibration. Attend daily work permit issued by the operation department where safety is our priority
Coordinating to immediate superior before and after the operation and always updating the letter about the development of the work load
Carry out periodical maintenance on electrical related equipment
Installation of instrument cabinet and panel.
Installation of cable tray inside room
Transfer of instrument panels.
Installation of non-wire armoured cable for Instrument panel
Impulse piping and tubing by cold blend
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with building codes.
Plan and prepare for materials in advance in order to carry out works in effective manner.
Perform maintenance procedures of all aspects including but not limited to condition, monitoring, inspection, testing, servicing, repairs and replacement.
Perform installation and electrical service works.

Carries out unsupervised the routine maintenance of instrumentation loops and associated systems in assigned area according to approved priorities; maintenance programs and specific checklists. Equipment includes turbines, compressors, glycol, ESD and Fire & GAs detection and protection systems and safety equipment.
Carries out with a minimum of supervision, various maintenance tasks required on a less frequent basis such as, the monthly checks on moisture and other analyzers and replace probes as and when required.
Troubleshooting, calibration and loop checking of instrument for process, fire and gas detection system, compressor and skid in accordance to clients and manufacturer specification.
Demonstrates and conducts any required inspections / post-maintenance testing of systems, equipment and components as necessary to complete work packages and ensures systems, equipment and components are returned to operational condition.
Participate in plant safety and environmental programs.
Directs and participates, with Instrument and Controls Technicians and Contractors in the maintenance of all instrumentation, control systems, DCS systems, and quality measuring indicators.
Organizes and directs daily work for Instrument Technicians and Contractors. Includes carrying out routine, planned preventative maintenance and breakdown work on all instrumentation equipment by ensuring that tools, equipment and suitable Technicians are available to carry out the work in a safe and cost effective manner. Includes: Management of spare part inventory in warehouse.
Provides technical support for personnel on the SAP Plant Maintenance Model
Monitors and ensures compliance with H.E.S. policies and procedures. Active participant and champion of behavior based safety within his area of responsibility. Ensures that instrumentation and control systems on facilities are operated in a safe and environmentally sound manner to comply with all applicable local laws and regulations in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
