Project Numerical Analysis of Pylon fuel injectors in scramjet combustor. Member of a 4-person team.

Project summary: The objective of the project was to model and analysis of basic pylon fuel injector and ramp pylon fuel injector. And analysis the performance of injector for different ramp angle. The mixing of the fuel and air will take place near the ramp so more drag at the ramp, the better will be the mixing inside the scramjet combustor chamber. By changing the ramp angle, we were able to produce more drag (increased the drag by 2%) and that helps in improving the efficiency of the engine. Work done: Data collection, Designing, Analysis

Mini Project Design of “Military Cargo Aircraft”. Member of a 2-person team. Project summary: The objective of the project was to design a military cargo aircraft with desired considerations of a long-range aircraft that can provide high fuel efficiency. By using the data acquired from the graphs the calculations were done for the design. The graphs were plotted on the basis of data acquired from various military cargo aircrafts. The graphs were plotted on various aspects to get the desired values for the calculations. By using these values, the calculation for wing structure and aerodynamic forces were done and the design of military cargo aircraft was created which has better fuel efficiency.
