Performed Lead Development roles toggling back and forth between PS Financials and HR modules

I am committed to delivering quality Deliverables such as (Knowledge Management Articles, Design Docs, Flow Diagrams, Unit Test Results, Approvals, Implementation Plans, Service Now Tickets, MAC-Requests etc).

Worked closely with internal information technology groups, including system architects, infrastructure group, database administrators, release management, Tier 1 and Tier 2 production support.

Participated on the “EPM Activity (for Admins)” project for the HR team as a Senior PeopleSoft Developer. This system allows Administrative Assistants to update data for various Supervisors’ Direct Reports. This is one of the first developmental efforts that involved three different user levels (the Admin, Supervisors and Direct Reports). This effort involved updates to various PeopleSoft items like Components, Pages, Menus, Records, and multiple levels of PeopleCode changes.

Senior Technical Developer for CLR – Credit Loss Reporting effort with numerous aggressive deadlines. This project involved using the PeopleSoft Module – Project Costing that was completely customized for CLAS – Credit Loss Accounting System. The purpose of the CLR effort was to make reporting efforts completely “dynamic” for end-users. This would allow the end users to create various reporting elements and then use the elements on multiple reports. The end-user could even then redefine the definitions behind the reporting elements in order to get their values calculated correctly. This effort involved defining numerous Oracle Tables to store the information. The end users would run “Calculation” routines, which would calculate the current monthly values for a given report. I generated 5 out of 11 Application Engine Calculation Routines for this effort. I was also responsible for the initial loading of various Historic Data, using Data Mover Scripts etc. I have also become proficient at using the Change Management tool called STAT, along with Tracking issues etc in ClearCase and ClearQuest. I was also the team's subject matter expert with STAT and helped others on the team with any issues.

The Freddie Mac Foundation GIFTS EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) effort was an example of effective business and ISS partnerships, which included team members from Accounts Payable, the PeopleSoft Program Office, the Corporate Relations Support Team, the Freddie Mac Foundation and FM Treasury team. The project manager viewed this team and this effort as ‘one of the best’ she had ever experienced. I was viewed as an integral member of this team, responding quickly to evolving business requirements and working diligently to resolve bottlenecks that often initially appeared to be show stoppers. Received a Premiere Achievement Award for my support and contributions to this effort and was recognized by my peers for my customer focus, flexibility, and thorough research of the industry ACH technology.

Lead Technical Analyst for Expense Module Upgrade. I was accountable for applying all retrofits etc to the Expense Module. Made all appropriate changes to SQRs, App Eng Programs, various levels of PeopleCode etc to ensure that all Table Structure changes were taken into account. Reapplied Customized Menu Options so that customized functionality remained intact. Generated Conversion Scripts to ensured that all Oracle Table Structure changes were recreated in Production successfully. All Public Queries were retrofitted to incorporate new Table Structures as well. Worked closely with Business Analyst throughout the Upgrade resolving issues and generating Test Scripts etc. Produced numerous SQL scripts to help generate Test Data in a more automated fashion.

Participated in the PeopleSoft Upgrade of AP and PO. Converted and tested ALL public queries along with related Crystal Reports to ensure they would continue to function in Production after the upgrade. Also reapplied customizations as needed for various SQR reports etc.

Played the role of Primary Production Support person for PeopleSoft AP, PO, GL modules.

In charge of running the 1099 process at year-end. This required the Implementation of critical 1099 fixes from PeopleSoft.

Played the role of PeopleSoft Security Administrator, performing ALL Security Functions. Responsible for adding users to newly created Operator Classes. Also involved in granting access to various Panels/Menus etc.

Utilized “Visual Slick Editor” to an extensive degree along with the VI Editor when working with Unix objects.

Worked as the primary point of contact for the CE Initiative project. Responsible for the scheduling of all jobs on both the mainframe (JOBTRAC) and Unix (AUTOSYS) sides.

First employee to participate in the Project DBO training provided by the DBA group. Relocated to Reston for 3 months to get hands on Sybase DBO experience. Became the Risk Management Department’s Sybase DBO (Database Owner) to help projects get implemented faster and smoother. I was able to do DB Security Changes as well as perform backups etc.

Team lead for many project implementations. Great team player. Have helped multiple consultants extensively to learn Freddie Mac Standards and Procedures along with transitioning various projects to them.

Became a Certified JCL Reviewer to support any Freddie Mac project ensuring that quality JCL gets migrated to production.

Developed a CLIST called READYTRC for every COBOL II developer at Freddie Mac to use, which simulated the Ready-Trace option that went away in COBOL II. Have also written numerous other CLISTs, available to coworkers, to help get work done more quickly and accurately.

Rotated on production support on-call schedule for PeopleSoft Financials Tier 3 issues. Issues transitioned over to our group from Tier 1 and Tier 2. Troubleshooted and resolved issues in a timely manner.
