Additional work - Preparation of tender drawing, tender specification, rising of idents, technical evaluation of vendor, vender development and import substitution, approval manufacturing drawings and testing actives, procedure, expediting manufacturing and testing activities at venders works, sorting out technical problems, analyzing and solving such problems during coarse of manufacturing and testing, giving guidance to venders for development of jigs, tools, tackles and fixture, sequence of welding for distortion and dimension control during welding and stress relieving operation, certain intricate machining operations using CNC machine, developing heat treatment facilities, hard crome plating, nitriding facilities, finishing facilities like grinding, honing, lapping to a very high degree of finish, ensuring proper packing, transportation and finally witnessing testing after election at site.

Quality Assurance was involved in

1.Vender /sub- vender evaluation and vender development. Periodic performance evaluation of venders/sub -vender by qualitative and quantity analysis of their product and meeting delivery target.

2.Preparation of inspection quality plan, sending intimation to supplier, review of document received from indenter, informing indenter for non-receipt of document if any.

3.Review /and approval of suppliers quality assurance plan, manufacturing procedures, heat procedures, inspection and testing procedure, inspection testing plan (ITP), testing arrangement and testing procedure including NDT (UT, RT, MP&PT) procedure and inspection formats as and when required.

4.Review and approval of welding procedure specification. Caring out procedure qualification test as per ASME Sec IX and approval base on test results.

5. Caring out test approval of consumables- welding electrode, MIG/TIG, FCW wires following ASME sec II-part C.

6. Approraval of: -

oCarrying out mock up test for approval of welding process like- insert welding and for selection of suitable welding method (combination of welding process) in case of inaccessible areas or areas having difficult welding approach.

oCoordinating with main customers on regular basis and resolving and non-conformities observe during various stage of manufacturing of the job with indenter. Actively participate in the progress review meeting with indenter.

oReview of test certificate of consumables and review of material received issue of Register at regular interval.

7.Carrying out stage inspections during fabrication as Estimation, costing and project management for rotary, static equipment of Thermal Power Plant, Oil Sector and Nuclear Power Plant: - like wagon tippler, stake reclaimer, hammer mill, ball mill, ruler grinding m/c, rotary screen, static screen, movable crushing coal plant, heat exchanger, pressure vessel and boiler.

oInspection of Fabrication, Assembly, Testing, Commissioning of static & rotary equipment for Steel Plant like ladder, ladder transfer car, Hood transverse carriage, scarab box transverse car, Production equipment for byproducts like primary gas cooler, naphtha scraper, naphthalene scraper, Sulphur scraper etc.
