Operation Manager

Presently Working in 7.5 MW captive power plant, PSR green energy power (p) Ltd, Marikal, Telungana-India.( July 2019 toTill now)

Role & Responsibility

1.1To dismantling, loading, re- erection activities of 7.5 mw captive power plant.

1.2Dismantling of travelling grate type boiler(40T/52 kg/cm2),pressure parts,eco coil, water wall panels, travelling grate bars,APH,etc.,

1.3Dismantling of turbine sets,turbine Auxiliary,MOT tanks,BFP,ACC,EJECTORS,GLAND SEALING,CST,etc.,

1.4To dismantling of DM plant,dm storage tank, ACW SYSTEMS,CT fan, etc

1.5To dismantling of ESP, ash silo, drag chain feeders, MS chimney.

1.6To prepare daily report and mailed to head office

1.7To prepare dismantling schedule and close the work within schedule periods.

Plant In charge

Worked in 16 MW captive power plant, Ultra Tech Cement Ltd, Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh-India.(Jan 2017 to July 2019)

Role & Responsibility

1.9Erection and Commissioning activities of AQC-WHRS, Pre-Heater Boiler No 1& 2, TG set and other auxiliaries.

1.10IBR inspector co-ordination & formalities for Pressure parts ground inspection, stage wise erection inspection of pressure parts, hydro test of boiler and receiving of boiler provisional order same hand over to client.

1.11Co-ordinate with erection crew and make necessary arrangements for them. Prepared boiler and accessories commissioning schedule. Prepared bar chart for erection and follow-up for erection material with projects dept.

1.12Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities done in boilers and other all Rotary equipment s.

Power Plant Manager

Role & Responsibility

2.1Operation & maintenance of BTG in 4 MW captive power plant. Ensure that the plant running on safe side with maximum availability.

2.2Worked with Boiler modification and up gradation project. Dismantle complete boiler coils, and replace new water wall panels, bank tubes, super Heater coils, economizer coil, Air pre-heater tube and all new headers.

2.3Worked with Furnace modifications, grate fixing and complete bricks, insulation work done. Fuel Handling conveyors and Bagasse Carrier-Three drum drive Feeders erection work done.

2.4Boiler commissioning works - slow firing, chemical cleaning, Steam blowing, safety valve setting, and taken as BTG full load operation successfully done.

2.5In distilleries plant, Erection and commissioning of wood chips fired auxiliary boiler 12 tph and wood chipper machine with conveyor units.

2.6Shut down of equipment s for overhauling & inspection, identify equipment s or predictive & preventive maintenance, and prepare job list of equipment shut down.

2.7Prepared various reports on monthly basis like, daily generation report, Fuel consumption report, plant performance report etc.

2.8Executed the schedule activity, with continuous observation on weekly and monthly equipment changeover, equipment running hours, changing lube oil as per lab reports etc.

Operation Manager (Deputy Plant Head)

Worked in 60 MW captive power plant, Manigargh cement Ltd, Maharashtra-India.

Role & Responsibility

3.1Responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of the plant, at their optimum values. Operation & Maintenance and commissioning of 253 TPH CFBC Boilers, Turbine, Condenser, Electrical Generator, High pressure & Low-Pressure Heaters, water treatment plant etc.

3.2Familiarized in root cause diagnostic and troubleshooting with different plant equipment s. Competent to prepare routine & preventive maintenance schedules.

3.3Maintain and optimize the plant efficiency. Ensure healthiness of the equipment to achieve maximum plant availability. Communication and co-ordination with related department to isolation & handover equipment s, preparation and issue safety work permits for various jobs.

Worked in (2 x 135 MW UPP) at Vandhana vidyut Ltd, Korba, Chhattisgarh-India.

Role & Responsibility

4.1Erection and Commissioning of PC Boiler-first boiler in CVL (Steam Flow 460TPH, Pressure 141kg/cm2& Temp-540oc) and its auxiliary system such as Air-Preheated, Draft system, Burner system, etc.

4.2IBR inspector co-ordination & formalities for Pressure parts ground inspection, stage wise erection inspection of pressure parts, hydro test of boiler and receiving of boiler provisional order same handing over to client.

4.3Co-ordinate with erection crew and make necessary arrangements for them. Make boiler and accessories commissioning schedule. Making bar chart for erection and follow-up for erection material with projects dept.

4.4Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities done in both boilers and other all Rotary equipment s. (Fan, Pump, Compressor, Feeders etc.)

4.5Load the boiler up to MCR and maintain the design parameters, if any deviation found discuss and resolve the issue and maintain boiler log sheets during full load trial.

5.Operation Energy Group (P) Ltd- India april-2009 to june-2010.

Shift in charge

Worked as a Shift in charge in 8 MW Sri Rangaraaj power India (P) ltd, Perundurai Sipcot, Tamilnadu deputed by Operation energy group India (P).

Role & Responsibility

5.1Operation of 36 TPH waste heat recovery boilers, Turbine, Condenser, Electrical Generator, water treatment parameters etc and ensure that the plant running on safe side.

5.2Responsible for smooth operation of plant, generation & supply of Steam & Power as per the operating parameter with safety and environment norms. Cold & hot startup of plant, emergency handling and normalizing the Plant.

5.3 Shut down of equipments for overhauling & inspection, identify equipments for predictive & preventive maintenance, and prepare job list of equipment shut down.

5.4Executed the schedule activity, with continuous observation on weekly and monthly equipment changeover, equipment running hours, changing lube oil as per lab reports etc.

5.5Routine Check-up Feed and Condensate water analysis and ash analysis reports on daily basis. Prepared various reports like Performance report, daily generation report, Fuel consumption report, etc.

Worked in 36 MW captive power plants, RAMCO cement India Ltd, Alathiyur, Tamilnadu.

Role & Responsibility

6.1Handle the day to day Maintenance & break down Maintenance of conveyors, Crushers, magnetic separators, tipplers, front loader, and stacker reclaimed.

6.2Some of the major annual shutdown attending in the area of boiler, turbine, coal handling- crusher, screen, gearbox and all others belt conveyors area.

7.Brothers engineering and erectors ltd,Chennai. From Dec -2006 to Aug-2008

Site Engineer

Worked as Site Engineer in (3 x 660 MW) NTPC Super Thermal Power Plant Bilaspur, Chattisgarh-India, deputed by M/s. Brothers Engineering & Erectors Ltd, Chennai.

Role & Responsibility

1.1Erection of Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) in 660 MW Power Plants. The details of ESP job executed are as follows.

1.2Erection of ESP structure like ESP columns, beams, channels, Brackets Gratings, Staircases and Handrail etc.

1.3Erection of Girders, Bearings, Bracings, Collecting plates, Rapper rod Mechanism and ash hopper. Cross checked the structure alignment and diagonal checking for columns and ESP structure.

1.4Erection of plant pipe line and checked the field plan quality for the pipe line like Die penetrate Test, Radiographic test and make protocol as per the BHEL Quality plan manual.

1.5Pre-planned the material requirement as per site activity following with head office and vendors for the dispatch of material.

1.6Report daily work progress to site Manager. Performed monitoring and ensure sub-contractor progress and completion of task with in the scheduled time.

1.7Experience in studying different types of fabrication & erection drawings and executed jobs as per the drawing dimensions.
