RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
My research experience was brought to the fore when I investigated “the effects on fraud, abuse and waste in the public service, a case in the Sunyani Municipality” during my Master’s Degree. The purpose of this study was to examine factors that contribute to on-going fraud within public service, establish the effects of fraud, abuse and waste and ascertain ways of combatting fraud, abuse and waste within the public service.
At the undergraduate level, my research was on the “Corporate Social Responsibility; a necessity to Ghanaian businesses; a case study of Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) Ghana in the Brong Ahafo Region”. This study was my contribution to unearthing the factors considered in deciding on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity to undertake and the effects of Corporate Social Responsibility on the operations of MTN.
Then to identify some of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives the company has undertaken within the past one year, identify challenges that emerge as a result of carrying out the CSR and ultimately make policy recommendations towards the CSR of MTN and other organizations in Ghana.
