As a generalist, aided supervisor-on-call with scheduling, training of new employees, and quality control to provide a safe and efficient workplace, while working in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology.
While working in the Blood Bank, I worked independently monitoring release of products in operating rooms while aiding the supervisor-on-call with the technology system, Rotem, to help blood transfusion patients leave sooner, therefore providing efficient health care to all patients.
Working in the Hematology Department as a Flow Cytometry Specialist, I collaborated with pathologists, oncologists, and pediatric surgeons, analyzing test results, and finalizing stat tests to ensure quality patient care was practiced.
Joined forces with the laboratory’s supervisor and director monitoring the Code Stroke Project and aligning the laboratory process with trauma and EMS units to have a better turnaround time and better outcome for the patients.
