Perform wellness exam for all ages. Perform EPSDT on children 2 weeks to 19 years old per Medicaid guideline with immunizations. Responsible for maintenance of all information required by Mississippi State Department of Health including ordering and returning of vaccines.

Order, perform and interpret diagnostic lab work and x-ray. Prescribe medication within guidelines of scope of practice.

Proficient in telemedicine and COVID-19 PCR testing with initiation and startup of the first COVID testing site in local area (PCR and rapid antibody/antigen testing). Averaged 45-50 patients daily for testing.

Utilize Electronic Health Records to its fullest capabilities and complete records within policy regulation.

Responsible for the hiring and management of providers and support staff including annual evaluations and mandatory competencies. Responsible for Quality Assurance QA for clinic and utilization reviews with insurance companies. Proficient with rate negotiations with insurance companies to ensure competitive cost-effective care.
