Property Accountant

Lead on implementation of Yardi 7s accounting software. Accounting for multiple Commercial, Retail and Residential properties that include Section 8. Set-up all properties to the completion with leases and charges. Set-up online banking for wires of tenant payments, contributions and distributions. Calculate and enter monthly contract item journal entry accruals such as janitorial, security and utility expenses to match expenses to period incurred, and review trial balance for reversing of same journal entries. Record bank reconciliations.

Maintain R/E Tax, Business tax and Insurance schedules. Calculate and record appropriate depreciation and amortization of fixed assets, tenant improvement and commissions.
