Application Developer

Project: Created an application which was intended to be used to monitor and record details related to academia for students and teachers. This application was an aggregator of courses and students’ performances. It could be used to generate different reports about the courses, students’ activity, comments, and progress during the courses. It was also a portal where recorded videos of courses could be viewed by students.

Accomplishments:

Developed microservices using Spring framework and created design documents. Used Spring Data along for data layer interaction.

Used ReactJS to build new web pages along with appropriate use of Javascript, HTML and CSS.

Used event driven microservice interaction using Apache Kafka.

Enhanced web pages built using JSPs, used Ajax to make the website more responsive.

Wrote PL/SQL functions and stored procedures for some batch processing and report generation.

Wrote Spring Integration modules to handle and process JMS messages. Wrote JMS gateways, File gateways and writers. Verified the loads on each channel and checked if there were any memory leaks. Monitored GC behavior.

Application developer

Project: Created an application which used to encrypt and decrypt attachments in email which was using Pawaa email software. This project also built a front-end to view and compose emails. Pawaa encryption and decryption services were used in the project which used one-click methodologies. These services were later branded as SecurelyShare under its own website.

Accomplishments:

Implemented MVC architecture, made sure that the encryption and other libraries and their error scenarios are handled properly.

Built new and enhanced existing Application Interface pages using ReactJs, and Spring Framework
