WORK EXPERIENCE
University of Applied Sciences Emden Janurary 2020 - April 2021 Research Assistant
This team of researchers are developing a novel FF-OCT combined galvo-laser-scanning system for in situ laser surgery. My team-orientated work included:
Researching, designing, and constructing optical architecture
Optical optimizations decreased cost by several hundred Euros and simplified design all while improving performance
Successful design of an image acquisition, post-processing, and optical-alignment assistant software in MATLAB and GUI
Improved demodulation algorithm by experimental interferometric simulation in MATLAB
ExactData February 2016 - May 2018
Data Scientist
As a Data Scientist I worked with engineers and scientist to apply high- delity synthetic test data to data sensitive markets. ExactData creates high- delity test data for system testing and is fore fronting innovation in AI technology, logistics and creating novel cyber security solutions.
PROJECTS
Full-Field Optical Coherence Tomography October 2019 - January 2021 Bachelor Thesis
"Improved Modulation and Cellular Imaging by Full Field Optical Coherence Tomography System with Michelson Objective and Steinhill Illumination" details a novel FF-OCT system and implementation of varying illumination schemes and objective architectures and its e ects on imaging biological samples. Data presented in this thesis will also be published in SPIE Photonics Focus.
Arduino-Based Oscilloscope and Acoustic Amplifier March 2020 - June 2020 Designed an improved and cheaper electronic circuit for acute acoustic signal acquisition and amplification and associated oscilloscope for signal reading and treatment using a basic Arduino.
