Finance Manager, Abdulla Essa Group, Dubai, UAE July 2020 – Continue Job Responsibilities:

o To lead, drive and manage the Finance function on the full spectrum of accounting, reporting and provision of insights to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the company's use of financial resources. o To ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial reporting with constant improvement in processes and systems.

o Collate balance sheet accounts’ ageing data and prepare presentation for senior management review on a monthly/quarterly basis.

o Review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that financial controls are sufficiently in place. o Prepare and submit internal reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis to management. Reports include but are not limited to cash & bank, sales, inventory, COGS, vehicle’s fuel/mileage, repairs, payroll, related party transactions and admin expenses, among others.

o Supervision of sales, purchase, warehouses and debt collection. o Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. o Finalization of the audit in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standard. o Dealing with more than 500 customers & 80 suppliers including negotiating on the terms and conditions, payments, review and managing the accounts of the same. o Update accounts payable, reconcile invoices to PO’s, negotiate payment terms with suppliers and facilitate payments in line with company policy.

o Assist the HR team with payroll and sales commission. o Authorizing daily cash collection and deposit to the banks from restaurants & retail store outlets. o Oversee the petty cash management of the group.

o Assist the Investments team with performing budget vs actuals. o Maintain storage and archival of all documents and records to ensure the documents and records are accessible as per authorization.

o Liaise with the auditors and assume primary point of contact to resolve accounting queries and discrepancies during yearend audits.

o Maintain good and professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and operators. o Assist with other accounting projects as and when required. o Developing long term business plans based on financial reports and strategies that work to minimize financial risk. Analyzing market trends and competitors. o Predicting future financial trends.
