Job entailed: Sky Marshall Security is one of the largest aviation security companies in the United Kingdom. I was appointed to perform site access control, perimeter security, site and personnel search procedures and supervise the sealing of airline catering trucks and carts. All these operations were undertaken to ensure that no explosive materials had been planted, that nobody was carrying illegal weapons and that the perimeter and the site itself was secure in order to load the carts before they were put onto the aircrafts. Together with these responsibilities I was required to deal with telephone queries and complaints and monitoring of the CCTV cameras. In addition to the increased security levels demanded by the site I was also required to ensure that VIP guests were handled professionally and competently in order to present an acceptable public face.
