Seeking a position of PCB CAM engineer to work in a fast –paced and challenging environment where 8 year of working experience as a PCB CAM engineer and 3 year experience of PCB costing planner in manufacturing company. Role : Senior CAM Engineer.

Responsibilities:

To work on files of different data format like gerber,RS-274x

DXF,PDF,HPGL,AUTOCAD,ASCII and EXCELLON NC drill files.

Perform pre-manufacturing like drill check, dimension check and design rule check on every parts with merging and editing –single side,double side and multilayer and High dentity interconnection job.

Check design for acceptable minimums –track width,track spacing, pad to track spacing, minimum drill size & annular ring, mask preparation, silk preparation and preparing DFM report for PCB manufacturing.

Panalization:Step and repeat of individual layer, add tooling hole,fiducial thieving pattern on inner and outer layers.

Generate drilling,Routing,score CAD programs from blue print.

Responsible for communicating with customer for clarification,approvals and to solve problems with respect to data.

Analysis of the errors & causes identified for the edited job both inner and outer layers.

Work on the implementation of the corrective action planning for identified cause.

Update and follow new instruction from the customer requirements.

Involving in the technical reviews on the capability analysis of special requirement and new PCB operation from customer .

PROFESSIONAL SKLL IN CAM:

Run the DRC for design rule checking

Edit the data and run MRC for manufacture rule checking

Able to do special type of job like impedance controlled board, gold finger,edge plating & castellation,depth routing, flip-flop type,counter bore &sink, via plug, via fill,via cap, Back drill, Sub lamination[ HDI board blind,buried,laser] upto 6 cycles.

To provide the coupon (class 3 coupon,IPC, AB) and military coupons, blind, buried coupons with special target in panel venting area.

To generate the programs for drilling and routing.

To generate AOI (Automatic optical inspection)

Able to do critical routing and outline as per customer drawing.

Able to generate EMPB (First article inspection report)

Handling of engineering change notes (ECN)

Associating with QA for improvement in the process

Handling of customer compliant.

Checking the quality of production produced & analyses the quality failures along with the team.

Active member in process engineering team.

Motivating the people to manufacture and supply the products as per specification and on time.
